2 things.

1. You really hear the Swedish accent when its isolated
2. Agneta Fältskog the blonde singer was actually an babysitter for my dad when he was super young somewhere during the early 70s.

Abba, still ahead of their time... loved for 50 years. This was one of the greatest blessings of the 70s 👍🇮🇪

No autotune... but a ton of compression, 1176, then a LA2A, then reverb, back into an SSL bus compressor, then onto tape for a little saturation and a touch more compression, each stage adding subtle harmonics - and as was common in the 70s the final playback was often pitched up (tape speed increased) very slightly to tighten the timing. And this prior to any processing at the mastering stage. Oh, and multiple takes (we're talking dozens), overdubs and edits, stunning sounding £$3, 000 microphones, going through Pultec EQs, with the real production / engineer masters of the time even taking to the razor blades to splice individual phrases and even individual words into a take in the pursuit of excellence.
