Can The Dallas Mavericks Do The Impossible?

Just when we were ready to crown the Boston Celtics 2024 NBA champions the Dallas Mavericks come out and absolutely dominate them in game 4. The Celtics at one point led by 48 points and this has given them some optimism entering game 5. Today we talk about if the Mavericks have any chance to do the impossible and become the first team to come back down 0-3 in a NBA series.

As much as I want to see the Celtics fail, I have no real reason to believe they'll be the first team in NBA history to blow a 3-0 lead in the finals. I originally picked the Mavericks to win in 6, I feel stupid for that now. Every bone in my body is telling me the Celtics will win in 5, but if the Mavericks somehow pull off the impossible, I'll happily admit I was wrong.

Its a win win for Mavs. Either Luka and the rookies made their first nba finals which is already huge or they win everything in a story for the ages. So hoping for the best but wouldmt mind either way.

Dallas is a very young team, mostly all in their first finals and Game 4 was the first they looked settled defensively. The game trends point to a Dallas comeback if Porzingis stays out IMO.

I’m a Lakers fan so there’s hardly more people that want to see them fail more than us, but the Celtics just haven’t given us reason to believe they would blow this lead. i just really believe they wanted to win in Boston, we hope Dallas can do it but it’s just not likely
