Rogue Trader being in great shape now, Space Marine 2, STALKER 2, finally getting into BG3, and with how good PoE2 I feel like I haven’t felt this happy as a gamer in a while

I played Disco Elysium early this year. Being intentionally vague, but best moment easily the big finale. I thought I had failed the earlier search mission so I was blown away. Really special experience to have at 4am after gaming through the entirity of one of my very few free days.

I had an unforgettable modded playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 themed around Thor and the modded Mjolnir hammer. Electric damage, fist fighting, berserk invincibility, and throwing Mjolnir around.

I also played Forgive Me Father 1 & 2, did 5 playthroughs of BG3, played both Space Marine games, and next up is Rogue Trader and Boltgun.
I also played a 2D platforming game called Neva.

Had to take a few days away, hand injury. I'll drop two quick: Played New Vegas and Prey for the first time this year. The entire opening of Old World Blues ingrained an indelible imprint on my brain and a permanent smile on my face - Top-Notch Writing! There are too many great moments in the terrifying first run of Prey, but I will NEVER forget my first encounter with a Poltergeist: crouched, scared, sneaking around the corner into a large room when the music stab hit, and chairs and tables started levitating😲and I put it in reverse and "noped" my way back out! Glad I found your channel this year! Thank you!

For me, the single best moment of the year was writing a poem as Jin Sakai, alongside his Uncle, while leaves were falling and the sun was setting.

Playing Wrath of the Righteous for the first time this year is definitely a highlight of mine. As well as experiencing the final act of Dragon Age The Veilguard. You can say what you want to about the game as a whole, but that last act when you do your final assault on the Elven Gods is super good and entertaining with a satisfying finish (at least for me).

Playing Pathfinder Kingmaker for the first time and completing Vordakai's Tomb on my first try. I went into that dungeon not prepared at all and my camping supplies was less than ideal so I had to be very conservative when it was time to rest to replenish spells and health. When I reached the end to face off against Vordakai I didn't think I had any chance in defeating him but when I did boy did I feel this sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.

Probably my favorite moment was in Destiny 2. You defeat the witness and you get a beautiful view of the Traveler with your fireteam. I had been playing Destiny since the D1 beta and having the screenshot of me with the fireteam I had been with since those days after defeating the game's primary antagonist was a beautiful bookend for a game that was a part of my life for so long.

Between you and Slander, I really dove into WOTR this year. I've spent hours of free time just theory crafting builds for different playthroughs and loved every minute of it. Just started my Lich run. Doing Demon first was such a great intro to the world/story of the game. The only other game I've played this year was Shadow of the Erdtree, lol. I might look into Rougue Trader lore

I am just about to complete my big gaming moment. I played all of thd mass effect game and the first one multiple times however i never played the dlcs and i played 3 at launch so i never even saw their updated ending. I bought the LE when it came out but soon afterwards i got so sick i was off work for over 2 years. So gear i am, near the end and i just completed the Citadel DLC last night. I am about to go for the point of no return. So excited that i am finally about to complete a full playthrough.

I finished my True Aeon run of Wrath of the Righteous a few days ago and I’ve been thinking about it since. What a brilliant game and what a brilliantly bittersweet ending.

Silent Hill 2 Remake. It captures the spirit of the original and genuinely unsettling to play. Loved it!

The king's funeral in Metaphor, finishing up some of the ultimate raids in FF14, the new routes in Slay the Princess, and going through Still Wakes the Deep as kind of a scary movie night with friends on discord were some of my favorites. On a technical side the various improvements games have made to darker skin tones and different hair styles like in Dragon's Dogma 2 and Veilguard have been really great to see.

What made Oblivion unique compared to other games is that you’re not the hero. You’re the guy who helps Martin so that he can defeat mehrunes dagon and save the world.

I played back through Assassin’s Creed Black Flag for the first time since my initial playthrough about a decade ago. A phenomenal game with an incredible story and something that brought me back to that era of my life in the best way.

Legitimately, my favorite gaming this year was firing up Red Dead Redemption 1 and seeing old friends. It's more arcade-y than RDR2, but I there's a charm to racing about on your horse without worrying that an errant tree will send you flying. Undead Nightmare is also so much fun to play, with the silliness and moody atmosphere.
