Update! My friend Lauren didn’t like the Merit lipsticks so she’s sending me Fashion and Millennial! Woohoo!

My friend Dev said the Violette cream blushes have a lot of citrus fragrance so that’ll be an easy pass for me.

A follower Dm’d me that the Theraface changed her life and completely eradicated her TMJ migraines so I’m comfortable buying that for myself. I was supposed to get Botox for TMJ but it’s so expensive I keep putting it off.

And lastly, the rare beauty highlighter and merit set are sold out so I don’t have to worry about that anymore.

Wahh I keep wanting to try the Merit lipstick but the breaking off thing is my most niche pet peeve. It’s why I don’t get the Lisa Eldridge lipstick hype as both of mine basically fell apart. So bad.

I tried Plush and ended up throwing it away - which I almost never do. It dried my lips out. I also like thick lip products (ex. Laniege, Vaseline) and need intense hydration/occlusion.

Got all 3 shades of the Auric Plush Rituals recently. Not my fave sadly. They’re not as thick as I hoped. They feel like a thin lip balm. They are quite pigmented and I prefer something more sheer. Ripe is more of a hot pink than sheer red. Haze is pretty. Bare washes me out.

The color is **perfection**, but I'm the same as you with the colored lip products in pots. If you find a color dupe, PLEASE let us know!!

I think the rare beauty highlighter is gorgeous. And blinding. I think it's smooth, like silky smooth. But I do not think it's "smoothing".

Thank you for talking me out of Theraface-I have Omnilux and Ziip too so only the percussive massage feature interests me to treat TMJ. Hopefully there will be similar, less expensive products soon. Have you tried the massage rollers with metal balls? I have a Refa roller. It really helps my jaw.

You may be interested in some of Lisa Eldridge’s reds, palazzo is lovely and bright but the formula is soft, similar to merit, then the velvets are matte and more tenacious but also comfortable. The shades themselves are nuanced and beautiful. You may like Enchantment, it’s a soft, rose of a red for those days where a pop is appropriate

The Violette blushes have quite strong fragrance that does not fade for a long time after they are applied and that I found to be quite offensive. I wrote to them and they told me that they include synthetic as well as botanical fragrance. I'm pretty mad about it because they do not accept returns and because the blush would be great other than that (I have the Louise shade). I do like all the other Violette products that I have tried quite a lot though.

Maybe you could take the color code from the limited edition Merit red lipstick and put that code into a custom lipstick site like Finding Ferdinand to get that perfect red?

Please let me be a cautionary tale about overuse of those headband-style sleep headphones! I used them for months, until I finally realized that wearing them night after night had WORN THE TOP/FRONT PART OF MY HAIR COMPLETELY OFF. I am now going through the awkward and slow regrowth period, which has been 100x worse than any bangs grow-out I’d ever endured. I’m not saying not to use them (because they really are great). I’m just saying to be vigilant about early signs of your hair wearing away. It was truly tragic (and also kind of hilarious).

I just finished Plush Ritual by Auric. It felt great and smelled lovely but didn’t change my life. I think my lips are perma-dry and nothing really helps on a long term basis. I did use the jade spatula more than I thought.
