The fear of failing keeps us from realizing our God-given potential. But the Bible reminds us not to be afraid, for God is with us. In Joshua 1:9, it says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Instead of making fear-based decisions, we are called to have faith. Hebrews 11:1 tells us, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." When we have faith, we trust that God is in control. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Furthermore, we are reminded that we don't have to compete with others. Psalm 139:14 states, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Each of us is uniquely created by God. You don't have to be anyone but yourself. Embrace who God made you to be and let your light shine.
