Heh. That's awesome. Incidentally, it works just like the sticker cutters the use in the graphic design industry to cut out things like do not remove tags and bumper stickers and, more importantly, shaped stickers.

what i did was insert timers everywhere in the program so i could see where the problems were. it worked for me.

Well done you! Not only did you figure out the hand coding, you built it as well. I know first hand how hard that can be for someone starting out like you. :)

it is. it toke me at least 10 hours total to build it debug and program. its all worth it.

that make a diagonal line. you have to do what you said, but you also have to change motor speeds, so its hard to get the exact speed for the curve.

The NXT wheels fits perfectly with a beam 3 studs below the center hole, that is pretty nice, I have never noticed it.

it can print whatever you program it to. if you took the time you could make it write a letter. this brings up its only downside. It is complicated or impossible to make curves.

damn if i knew about this i wouldnt have bought my printer... though the the mindstorm kit is lot more expensive than my printer, the level of geekiness feeling after creating this would be priceless

nxt is always slow but is always accurate

You should try and make it able to receive imput images from a computer to then print them
that'd be awesome, and you would'nt need a new printer anymore, (Cartridges are quite expensive, so it'd save up money)

this is technically a plotter not a printer or at lest a cross between the two as the paper has to move back and for through the machine more than once as well as the pen moving

Too bad! This is an old technology. It was called a plotter. Nicely made with lego altough.
