Carissa, you've helped me with my reading slump. This year I've been horrible. I didn't pick up one book. I discovered your channel around June and I started feeling motivated again. This month I read 3 (I know this is very low compared to others) but I am so happy I got the itch again. Like you said reading is a form of selfcare. Love getting lost in a story and I even joined an online book club for September. Lighting a candle, some incense, getting cozy and picking up a book has been healing. I even started listening to audio books on my walks and its made the time go by so fast. Thank you!

I loved the Six Scorched Roses novella too!! It was my favorite out of that series and I think it's because of the way the author writes relationships - I still think about it to this day :)

I loved this! ❤️ I’m totally with you with the ACOTAR series - ACOMAF and ACOSF were my absolute favorites! I have to know who your favorite bat boy is… Rhys, Cassian or Azriel?! In ACOMAF I never thought anyone could top Rhys, but ACOSF converted me to a Cassian girl 😅

I also feel the exact same about Iron Flame - I loved Xaden in Fourth Wing but he was really annoying me in Iron Flame. All I wanted was for him to communicate 😭

I loved the Chestnut Springs series!!! If I had to pick a favorite, which I loved them all, it would be Flawless. I’ve read 29 books this year, just got back into reading. I love your videos! Have a great weekend! ❤

Thanks for sharing Carissa! Rina Kent's Legacy of Gods series is an absolute must if you're interested in dark romance. The Throne of Glass series is on my list for 2025, my TBR is full for rest of the year. This year I've been into more paranormal romance and omegaverse. Stumbled into hockey omegaverse and I've been hooked.
