One of the worst "pastors" I've seen lately is Joel Webbon who whines about his Texas neighborhood being 30% Hindu and having to "explain to his children" the presence of people at the community swimming pool in "Hindu garb"
(whatever TF that means) and then have the temerity to say it's got nothing to do with Brown versus White. He also says, with a straight face, that his prayer is for Christian leaders (who, according to him, must all be men) to "have the stomach for revival" and to "crush their enemies and reward their friends". This is the embodiment of everything that's wrong with American Christian Evangelicalism. If your faith requires you to discriminate against those who are different from you in any way, then it's time for you to reevaluate, like, everything.

Whenever I hear someone say, "I'm an Old Testament Christian!, "I always say, "Well, I'm a New Testament Christian!"
Jesus came to fulfill the law, not break it; the New Testament is the Good News of grace and salvation, of Light and brotherly love. We are to comfort, and emulate, the meek, to care for the hungry, the orphaned, the downtrodden and lost. So, no, I have never heard MAGA followers quote the New Testament.
"Pride goeth before a fall." MAGA followers had best remember that ancient warning.

Amen. You are spot on Brando. And this is exactly what angers me about not only maga, but anyone who weaponizes any Bible verse for their own self justification. If you're Christian, you take all 10 commandments, not just the ones you want to follow. And that includes me.
