This song is so nostalgic for me (King Harvest version though), but I still absolutely LOVE this song! So beautiful, gave me a warm feeling inside, remembering back on days when everyone could dance together and party all night long. What I wouldn’t give to live a COVID free life again... thank you SMB!

The song sounds quite happy, but it has a very tragic backstory. Without going into too much depth, Sherman Kelly wrote it while recovering from the night he and his girlfriend were brutally attacked by a gang on a beach at St. Croix, it was a miracle he survived and went on to write this.
