Pemigewasset River becomes raging monster amid flash flooding

This is one of the most photographed spots in the White Mountains. On Monday, the Pemigewasset River was transformed into a raging river amid several inches of rain in the area.

That rumbling sound is the boulders bouncing downstream! VERY LOUD in real life. I was right there in 1985 during the storm that was Hurricane Gloria.
