As a first grade teacher, I always regretted the Book Fair people bringing in all the little toys and other unnecessary items. I wanted my students to buy books at the BOOK fair not trinkets that would get shoved under the bed, in a drawer within a month. The kids wanted the trinkets. LOL I also wanted the company to have some books for under five dollars for those who didn't have much money. It was difficult as some kids had twenty dollars and some had no money but all were required to attend as we went as a class during the school day.
Congratulations on the job, you're a people person and that is a perfect place to have that trait. I loved the "So far we're doing great. I got a cart that rolls straight!" So true, carts that roll straight are difficult to find!

I always loved "Book Fair" time and picking out new books for my kids. I totally agree with you on the cart situation. No matter what store I go to (I try to stay away from Walmart) I seem to get the cart with the bad wheel. Congrats on the new job - I can totally see you being a server!

I loved looking at, listening to and watching this 10 minutes and 54 seconds video of you all out and about at the Book Fair. I love books too.
I love that you each got to choose a cool prize from the Book Fair.
Yes Daisy your mobile phone that opens up with pen and a small pad of paper in it looks cool.
I love writing in coloured pens in cards and in note books too.
I love eating yummy Donuts too. The Donuts for me have to be Gluten Free.
