How to make a Working CASTLE GATE / Portcullis Gate in Minecraft

Today my friends I am bringing a little tutorial for you guys on how you can build your very own Working Portcullis Gate or Castle gate in Minecraft. Now this design of the gate that I have made is manually operated so it has a very realistic / survival feel to it.

Rotating the crank will open up your gate and rotating it the other way will close it. Now this gate is customisable to a really large height and width only limited by the number of blocks that can be attached to the Linear Chassis, so I think it will fit perfectly in any of your survival builds. Also this can be alternatively used as a prison gate or arena gate if you replace the fences with iron bars as they generally have similar designs.

Something that you have to remember while making this is the number of blocks that the Linear Chassis is going to attach itself to.Make sure that the number on the chassis is similar to the number of fences in a single column you decide to build your gate (Basically the height of the gate.) Cause if you mess this number up then the chassis will pull more / less blocks than desirable. Other thing you gotta remember is to press shift and keep your hand empty while rotating the crank in the opposite direction otherwise it won't work.

Linear Chassis
Rope Pulley
Slime Ball
Shaft
Vertical & Horizontal Gearbox
Wrench
Any fence of your choice
Any structural block of your choice

Also you will need to install Forge for either 1.14/1.15 depending on what version of Minecraft you are playing on.

Also, could you do something like this, but say if you shoot a button, it automatically raises it with this create mod? That and a drawbridge.
I was going to add it to my server in a dungeon I'm making for them. They raid a castle and have to shoot a button to raise a portcullis
