Vaughn Gittin Jr's RTR Spec 5 is Questionably Crazy

RTR Mustang has been a brand now for over 10 years. Started by Formula Drift driver Vaughn Gittin JR, it takes the Mustang from the factory to the next level. So when I got the call to drive Vaughn's personal RTR Spec 5 Mustang making 750HP - I couldn't resist. With this being only 1 of 10 in the tenth anniversary edition - the pressure was on. From Formula Drift to Forza Horizon - the RTR Mustang has gained an awesome reputation.So what's it like driving the best of the best RTR? Let's talk about it.

10 speed auto was truly the game changer. I love my 10speed Whippled 2020 GT. Worth 100hp. I beat a 6 speed manual 750whp Whippled 2019 GT consistently by a couple of car lengths from 40-130mph at our local legal track and I only have 660whp.

Beautiful. Had to sell my 02GT years ago when I moved abroad. Sadly, they're only auto here and the GT is about 100k USD. Cheap V8s are one of the few things I miss.

I have an S550 premium with twin turbos. They are ridiculous!! The funny thing is, these cars make most of their power over 4300 rpm so you were just basically tickling it a little.

for the color combo for mine, I would choose silver as the base color, then add black and orange stripes, and accents.

That thing is beautiful! The livery is one of the best “I didn’t know I’d love” color combinations on a 550 I’ve ever seen and the wide body is awesome. The only thing I would do differently would be a manual transmission. I know, I know, but I just personally prefer the feeling I get rowing the gears myself

btw David if you where gutsy enough maybe you can ask Vaughn for a passenger seat ride in one of his Formula Drift cars at some point in the not too distant future if Vaughn is not too busy with anything. i bet more than likely the S650 Mustang will probably do the same spec level/version thingy as the S550 Mustang as well. just imagine how crazy a S650 Mustang RTR Spec 5 would look and how powerful the preformance modifications would be for under the hood to the rest of the car as far a widebody kit goes and rims as well and maybe some seats as well.
