What Fake Devs Do

At Synextra, we have the term “fake dev”.
An internal thing only and not publicly known terminology we use for infrastructure people! Because actually, we’re not real developers, but we’re sort of doing some of the stuff that devs do, like typical dev skill set, which is like DevOps, infrastructure as code etc. So yeah… fake devs!

Work is making me do some Dev ops stuff atm, it does feel like a toy, ngl
