One thing I find fascinating about the Overwatch world: colorful characters and slap-stick comedy (the guy in the "Dragons" short running into the bell, for example)...

...but the Overwatch world is BLOODY. Remember that friendly scientist offering the adorable baby Winston a jar of peanut butter? Yeah, he was slaughtered with all the other humans when the apes went homicidal. The cities of Earth were crushed. Tens of millions dead. Heroes were cast out (like in The Incredibles.) Yet Blizzard packages all this misery and bloodshed in a format in which Bugs Bunny and The Powerpuff Girls would feel right at home.

This is not so much a criticism as an observation. I love the Overwatch world. I would adore being a hero with fantastic powers in this place, fighting for some cause--good or chaos.

Cartoon silliness in a near-apocalyptic hellscape; I've never seen anything it before.
