Star vs The Forces of Evil S4 - The Resistance - Skillet AMV

MAJOR SPOILERS IN THE DESCRIPTION AND IN THE VIDEO!!!!!!

I....... do not know what to think of today’s episode. In some ways, it was absolutely awesome, Eclipsa and Meteora’s butterfly form, destroying magic (still mixed about that), Mewni and Earth becoming one, Star and Marco deciding they’d rather die that not be with each other!!!! All that was amazing!!!! The reason I have mixed feelings about destroying magic though is because magic was a major part of this show, and that’s one of the reasons why I loved it. Now it’s supposedly gone, I kind of miss it. I know I won’t see it because SVTFOE has ended, but knowing no one will ever use magic again makes me kinda sad. Also, they won’t be able to travel from dimension to dimension, they won’t see people like Kelly anymore. Not only this, SO MANY CHARACTERS DIED DUE TO THERE BEING NO MAGIC! Glossaryk, who I feel sorry for; the spells in the wand like Spider With A Top Hat, who I really liked; and the Magical High Commission! I get they tried not to make them likeable by telling us how they gave Meteora away, but I remember before all that, when they were just good side characters. I wouldn’t mind so much but they LITERALLY MADE A JOKE OF THEIR DEATH I MEAN COME ON!

One other little nit pick I have with it was when Marco was stabbed. I gasped when it happened and it was really great to include that, but it didn’t go anywhere! There were no consequences to him being stabbed!

But, that doesn’t mean to say I didn’t love it, even if it wasn’t perfect. Like I said before, Star and Marco going back for each other when they knew they were probably going to die was one of the most beautiful and powerful moments within the series. They would rather die than be without one another.

I know I just complained about destroying magic, but when Star, Eclipsa, Moon and Meteora all came together to do that it was amazing.

Getting onto the actual video now, I started making this about a week ago, and I intended it to come out before Cleaved, but I found there weren’t enough clips from season 4 to properly complete the song. So I added Cleaved in towards the end.

But all in all, I do love this show, and I want to thank Disney and Daron Nefcy for creating it. I will never forget Star, Marco and the cast of all the other amazing characters. Even though it is over, it will still live on in our hearts forever.
