You’re invited to the first ever Sack Lunch Cruise! Join us for some laid-back driving and meet up on July 22nd, 2023. We will meet at the Plainfield Walmart (12690 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield, IL 60585) and roll out around 9am to head to Starved Rock State Park (2668 East 873 Road, Oglesby, IL 61348). The drive takes about an hour and 10 minutes. Be sure to bring a lunch and some water!

I love this idea. No litter, no mess, no noise pollution - respectfully staying within the law, just having a cruise with your friends :) Beautiful concept, and it's just like state park camping rules; don't leave anything, take what you packed. Use the garbage cans. Even in an urban environment, leave it how you found it. Some people don't understand that, though.
