Exploring Tam Coc: The Ha Long Bay on Land | Three Days in Ninh Binh, Vietnam 🇻🇳

In this video, we explore the breathtaking landscapes of Tam Coc in Ninh Binh, Northern Vietnam. Known as the “Ha Long Bay on Land,” Tam Coc offers scenic boat rides through towering limestone karsts, hidden caves, and charming local villages.

Over three days, we bike through the countryside, discover the mysterious Bich Dong Pagoda, and hike to the Lying Dragon Peak for jaw-dropping views. Along the way, we meet friendly locals, search for wild goats, and indulge in delicious Vietnamese food, from crispy spring rolls to steaming bowls of pho. Despite the rain and a few challenges, this adventure has been unforgettable—and it’s the perfect way to reflect on our incredible 30 days in Vietnam.

I was in Vietnam for 3 weeks July/August. Loved the place and the people and already planning to return too. I think I preferred Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City myself. Great videos

I am Vietnamese, and I had no idea that Vietnam had such stunning natural scenery. It's so mysteriously beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing your experience ❤🙏😄

Great video! Also the songs at 1:00 and 13:56-- love those! 😆 (Haha, I love the cheap thrill of recognizing random royalty-free songs in other people's vids.) We wanted to go to Ninh Binh during our trip to Vientam last year but because of the 30-day visa and the fact we had to stay in one place a month, had to scrap it. But this has sealed the deal that we need to return for a visit (maybe not in rainy season-- y'all are troopers.)

Politeness, humbleness, appreciation, sincerity, authenticity, and for sure genuine love all are captured on this video… Love has no boundaries when you breath the same air, and see no color on our skin.

Vietnam has a total of 64 provinces and cities, and each province has its own unique regional characteristics. Traveling in Vietnam is not enough for a short period of time. Many foreigners have lived in Vietnam for more than ten years, twenty years, or even the rest of their lives, and have not yet discovered everything ^^ After your trip to the north, try visiting the southwestern part of Vietnam, an extremely peaceful place, with rice fields., a simple person, quite honest, try wearing ao dai, ba ba shirt, go boating, experience being a Vietnamese farmer, extremely interesting, but in my opinion, you should not just stay in hotels, homestays, Stay with the people, you will see how warm and close the Vietnamese people are ^^

Good morning from SoCal,
Wow! That was amazing! Seems like you saved the best for last. I agree with Mike that it’d be hard to choose which place is more beautiful between Ha Long Bay and Ninh Bình.
So your 30 days trip in Vietnam came to an end. Hopefully that experience with many beautiful memories will follow you for life. Thank you for sharing your videos with us.
It’s not just a trip but it’s also your perspectives about Vietnam, its people, and its culture. You two, throughout your videos, have demonstrated that we as a whole can achieve harmony by understanding, caring, considering for each other though there are many differences. Thank you for respecting, and being kind to our people.
I wish you two the best of luck in the future wherever you go and whatever you do.
Be safe and healthy.

Those cause and effect posters were hysterical! They should sell them as souvenirs. 😂 I've always loved Ninh Binh and think it's gorgeous in every way and really enjoy when people bike around the area so we can see more of it. Sorry to hear that Ashely was sick, but Mike's climb was awesome. I was surprised there were so few people there as you usually have to fight the crowds. That must have been amazing to have the place to yourself so you can be practically alone with the dragon. The drone footage on top was fantastic!

Loved this one guys! Another of our favourite spots! And Mike, I can't believe you got the dragon pretty much alone! When we were there it was PACKED!!! 😂
