I remember a teacher once pulled me aside and said “I can tell you’re not a big crowd person. If you want I’ll let you spend the pep rally in the cafeteria with my class” I never did but knowing I could go there in case of a sensory overload was a real calmer.

I had this teacher. She taught sculpture. I loved art, but I couldn’t work in the 3rd dimension to save me. She recognized this and would let me bullcrap my assignments so I could spend more time drawing. What an absolute icon

Dude I had an art teacher just like this in high school- She was the first art teacher I ever had who didn't criticize my art for not fitting whatever prompt she set- In fact she let us do whatever we wanted as long as it fit the style that was being taught and very rarely gave us specified prompts and made it mandatory to doodle during class.
She was the best bruhhh-
