He caught her cheating, so he leaves. As much as it kills him and doesn’t want to he feels he has to leave for himself. As he drives away he misses her and thinks about what their future would’ve been like if he decided to keep going forward with their relationship, they would have their good moments but he would mostly grow to resent her as she try’s to make things better. But by the time he’s ready to forgive her and move forward together, she is tired of the resentment and mistreatment, it’s too late and they ultimately end their relationship. As we reach the end of the video, we come back to when he leaves, this reveals that he thought about all of this and how it would go the moment he stepped outside. He made his decision.
