New 2026 Audi Q5 - Review, Price And Specs

The current Q5 is available with three powertrains and while they might see some minor updates, we're not expecting any major engine changes. The base engine is a 201-hp turbocharged four-cylinder. The upgraded version of this engine in the 45 trim adds 60 hp. The top-of-the-range model is the 55 PHEV, which adds a plug-in electric powertrain and boosts total output to 362 hp.
We're still waiting on an official release date for the next-generation 2026 Q5, but the aforementioned Audi report says that we can expect it "second half of the year." We're not expecting to see it unveiled toward the end of the year, as the carryover 2025 model has yet to arrive at dealerships.
Pricing still remains a mystery, but we'll get a better idea once we learn more about the redesign. Current Q5 pricing ranges from $46,495 to $61,595.
The 2025 Audi Q5 will compete with the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, Volvo XC60, Porsche Macan, Genesis GV70, and the Lexus RX.
