Why the hell would you not slide knowing you have that many concussions

I’m sorry but Tuas career might be over for his own safety I think he needs to step away sadly some things are bigger than football

He got sacked earlier then immediately started missing open receivers and threw two terrible interceptions. It didn't look bad but the back of his head did hit the ground, I wonder if he got a minor concussion and running head first into a safety was the last straw.

Tua should wrap it up, no shame at all. I’d be happier to see him retire and live a long life rather than end up with major CTE at his age. Health and family > anything.

Damar Hamlin ending his career of all players is wild.

Hamlin didn't end Tuas career. Tua ended Tuas career. Hamlin was basically just standing there.

Man, I was looking forward to gloating over Dolphins fans & those 3 INTs, but seeing this makes none of that really matter. I just hope he's ok. Tua's a good dude, and I'd rather my team have lost than see Tua potentially have a life altering injury.

Bro he dropped his head that’s the number one rule to not do when contact coming your way

It’s just sad because it feels like the injury is all because of his form. He doesn’t even have to slide(should have) but don’t go head down into a defenders core

If a player gets taken out of the game by a guy who actually died playing the same game, that is a HUGE sign that that player should retire early

If Tua decides to resume playing, his next concussion might be his last act. Since he does not know how to protect himself, he needs to think about retirement.

What we know is that Tua's career should be over and the Dolphin's and the NFL need to step in. After what happened in 2022 he shouldn't even be playing now.

Its time for Tua to RETIRE, its not fair to his hard working teammates, the Dolphins organization who have invested so much in him, or even the fans for that matter.... He just can't manage to stay healthy. To be blunt, most of his injuries have been his own fault. Its all in how he neglects to protect himself throughout the game. Not sliding, making bad decisions by putting himself into harms way when it is not worth the risk etc.. Live to fight another down, or series... You would think after all he has been through, he would have learned something by now. I know football is a dangerous, contact sport, but there is a reason he has been hurt time and time again in such a short period of time... I feel sorry for anyone who had high hopes for this 2024 Dolphins season...

He should have slid in not ran in head first he did this to himself and I am a fins fan. He knows the history he has. I don’t want to see him on the field for atleast a 4-5 minimum he needs to sit out for a while. I don’t want to see back to back concussions again. I am a huge Tua fan but this just very annoying this whole night, even the coach passing on 3rd and 3 nearing the TD zone like just run the ball and get the first down.

That's a clear fencing response. It's what happens to your cerebral cortex in a concussion. He wasn't sticking his arm out for somebody to help him up, it was an involuntary neurological response.

His head and neck got crunched at a bad angle on impact 😕👏

This dude sneezes and has a fencing response. Time to hang up the cleats young fella.

I do not mean to sound callous; I hope Tua is okay. But as a Dolphin fan of over 40 years I don’t understand why they gave Tua a contract with over $160 million in guaranteed money.
