Helldivers 2 is a third-person sci-fi co-op shooter developed by Arrowhead Studios. Players will become a Helldiver in the name of exploring the galaxy and reclaiming planets that have fallen under enemy control back into the Super Earth coalition. Complete optional objectives on missions to reap rewards and powerful upgrades like weapons, armor, and more. Going from top-down to third person IS HUGE. Let's hope they can pull it off though it will probably be quite different from Helldiver 1 already just with the gameplay style.

as someone who is not really into top down strategy games, but someone who is into sci fi space stuff and shooters im really excited for this! know nothing about helldivers 1 but the world seems cool.

overall i'm excited! several things on my mind:
-I've noticed that we've got a Cyborg analogue, and obviously the bugs are back; but what about the Illuminate? Are they back, but just not revealed yet? DLC? Locked behind a season or something?
-we've seen most of the strategem park, but what about vehicles? are the bike, tank and the mech varieties back too?

here's to hoping this game creates just as many fun memories as the first title 😇
