This lad walked into the audition for The Piano, the police stopped him as he was dressed in a hoody, anorak etc. a producer had to help him. What he went through as a kid, with his brother was incredibly sad, he was adopted by an older couple who told him he could do anything with his life. He wrote his own music, the first was to celebrate his adoptive parents. I’ve got so much respect for him, now I find out he’s a red. I think he is so special.

My father took me to Anfield regularly as a child. On his shoulders through the narrow stiles. All standing in the kop. The bright white lines against the the green. Hes long gone, but a brick at Anfield has his name on. Who could forget the honesty of emotion of the crowd. The warmth. I've never left Liverpool. I love my City as if family. Its has its knobheads, but they know who they are.
