Star Citizen is an open development, crowd funded project from Cloud Imperium. Consisting of 2 games, Squadron 42 a single player, story driven campaign putting you in the middle of the Vanduul attacks as an up and coming UEE Navy pilot, and Star Citizen, a highly detailed
first person MMO set within a persistent universe where there are no limits. This includes, space, and ground aspects, massive spaceships with full interiors and interactions, a full dynamic economy which reacts to the players actions allowing for anything you can imagine.
It is all being built on the StarEngine (a modified version of Amazon's Lumberyard Engine).
Please bare in mind that this is heavily WIP and in an alpha state in which much of the foundational tech to make it a reality is still being developed. Both games do not have set release dates yet but you can play the alpha build for the PU MMO which makes consistent progress
with quarterly patch releases throughout the year.

I am an independent content creator and a fan of the game, I am not paid by Cloud Imperium however I do accept ships from them to giveaway to my community but this will by no means influence my opinion or what I say and believe about the project.

current hotfix patch is running perfectly, played the game for 3 hours on vulkan and it was smooth as butter and getting over 120fps in most areas's and it was stable.

Whoever is the director of the game right now is doing amazing. Constant patches constant progression I’m truly impressed. Getting all the shelved content in the game and making it playable. Just so much good around the game.

With the focus of PVP over the last what seems like years they really need to look into long term reparation and a new crime system as I've completely stopped playing due to every session turning into a game of COD and not a space sim or space MMO.

I was hoping the various GameGlass skins would also have unique layouts to give them more distinct character. I also am hoping they add additional shards to complement these manufacture themes and add UI elements which allow you to switch between the various modes (i.e. pilot to social) seamlessly like their suite of older SC shards.

The landing gear clean up is going to result in not having landing gear for ships that have sat "too long "😂

I'm always happy to hear that bugs are getting fixed. I hope CIG don't forget they claimed 2025 was going to be the year they focus on patching the many problems SC has. Thanks for the update, Mac!

Me and my family was ill last month I still got a lasting damage to my throat meaning its sensitive and easily irratable seems like anything can set it off even though the cold itself is gone i'm still suffering it's apparently going round my sibling brought it up from manchester that she went to for a day, I ignored her warnings to sit next to her foolishly thinking i'd be fine and everyone but my mother got it... which is suprising because I thought she'd be the most vulnerable but I guess her diet was just right to fight the one off I've heard it has spread around the UK it's not deadly but

It's a nasty one with coughing fits that make you cough so hard you almost throw up in my case I did twice as it's like a choking cough irritating the back of your throat to the point my eyes were pouring... if you do catch it I recommend some heavy duty Covonia and a lot of honey and lemon water(it eases the irritant and throat swelling if the covonia doesn't work try ibuprofen it reduces throat swelling, don't drink tea it will dry your throat out and make the irritation worse... I wouldn't be surprised if I got scarring! but to be fair my acid reflux was probably a factor! but it lasted like a 2-3 weeks so it was pure hell couldn't game could barely watch a program and on top of that there's a sleeping phase to it where your just bed ridden!

stay safe out there citizen keep your immune systems up... because if you catch it you wont have the strength to play sc
