i'd probably use the second one for fm and i just realised that i can do the same in my setup without the xpo using a precision adder. thanks for helping me come up with the idea.

another idea that would probably be fun to explore in a video would be the boundary between melody/pitch-stability and dissonance/atonality. there are a lot of interesting trimbres to be had at that boundary. for instance using maths as a more-or-less stable frequency divider for fm modulators or sending atonal sounds into the shorter zones mimeophon and sequencing mimeophon are two ways to do that, but i'm sure you can think of many more.

It’s amazing what a single oscillator can do, especially THAT one. I have to use mix utilities to stack exponential voltages into STO. Someday, I hope to discover that XPO life🙂

I was about to ask about the STO. Seems like it works the same! And would therefore work with any oscillator with an additional FM attenuator as long as you have your attenuation correct.
I would like more videos on Linear FM. That melodic patch sounded great in the linear input.

What is the range for the 1v/oct inputs? I could not find any info in the manual.

would be cool if you could have a switch to route the second 1v/OCT to either the sub or even a parameter on xpo. that may not make sense tho, idk

Unrelated to the actual video but does anyone know what the 2-tier stand on the right of the video is?
It looks taller and a bit different to most that I’ve seen.

that expo vs linear fm thing (that linear wouldnt hold a static incoming voltage) is only true in the context of the XPO, right?
