How to Draw Kuromi | Hello Kitty Crafts

Hello Friends! It’s October which means it’s time for a How to Draw video featuring our friend of the month – Kuromi! Kuromi is cheeky but charming and loves to cause trouble! We’re sure she’s feeling excited to show you this How to Draw video since her birthday is right around the corner on October 31st!

Materials Needed
Large tip black marker
Thin tip black marker
Gray marker
Light ping marker
Dark pink marker

Step-by-step instructions:
(00:48) Step 1: Start with your black marker and draw an oval to make Kuromi’s head. Her ears are shaped like a diamond, with a little circle at the tip.
(01:03) Step 2: Kuromi’s jester collar is four triangles with circles on each point. The triangles on the far left and right are thinner than the ones in the middle.
(01:18) Step 3: Draw parentheses on both sides of her face and connect them with a V. To make her bow, start with the inside circle, then the left and right sides of the bow. Finish her bow with little half circles on each side and fill in with pink paint.
(01:26) Step 4: Take the thin tip black marker and draw two lines for her eyes and connect with an oval underneath. Add her last eyelash under the first line. Fill in both eyes with black.
(01:43) Step 5: For her nose, draw a sideways oval in between the bottom of her eyes. Her mouth is a half moon shape which is slightly to the right of her nose. Use the light pink marker to color in her nose and mouth.
(01:55) Step 6: Use the light pink marker to draw a squashed circle. Then draw a little rectangle underneath the circle and fill in the whole shape light pink. Take your dark gray marker and fill in her hood and jester collar. To finish the skull, use the gray marker and draw her eyes and two little lines for her teeth. Use dark pink to fill in the circles on her collar.
(02:37) Step 7: Draw two parentheses just outside the two middle points of Kuromi’s jester collar. Draw two super small parentheses on both sides to make her legs. Draw two sideways C’s to make her feet and connect them with a curved line.
(03:01) Step 8: Draw her arms by making a curved line that starts at her jester collar, draw a second line that swoops around and connects to her body. D
(03:12) Step 9: Draw two curved lines to form her tail. The lines are closer together as they closer to her body. At the top draw a triangle and fill in with the gray marker. Our Halloween birthday girl is now ready for all the spooky fun!
