could please please someone explain, why there is doublebass sound at 1:20-1:40 when he isn't even kicking and vice versa? You can clearly see the Kickpedal under his snare..so it could not be heels down..or am i wrong?!

ive never seen someone put their main crash on their left so they have more room for chinas on their right but that would be a sound idea if i knew how to play open handed

1:20 is kind of a hot mess. Those subdivisions are pretty tight. I really like Cameron's writing, I think especially his older stuff is very creative and fills are placed very melodically. There are a lot of different voicings for single strokes and sixteenth note rhythms. I can't help but feel born of Osiris's drumming has become more groove focused and less about the tactile experience of a drummer using a lot of different instruments to create fills.
