I like how respectful you are when you enter someone's home.

Great update, Brian. You don't need to apologize for being busy. I'm glad you are busy in this economy. In AZ, my friends are struggling to keep their business afloat. People are financially strapped and can't afford even modest prices.

Congrats on being busy, as a freelancer myself, it's the best feeling to be overbooked, it feels so reassuring. Nice shot of the box of Non Dimmable bulbs

Dam, good thing they don’t pay you by the hour, that was one long ass switch swap. But you get extra points for switch plate color coordination 😂
Great vid glad to hear from you again 👍👍

Every led bulb that comes in 3 pack or more at my home depot says dimmer compatible. I can't buy non dimmables if I wanted to. The only dimmers we put back into rentals ourselves is 3 step ones for ceiling fans basically. They hold up really well and keep people from complaining "you took my dimmer away!". I've given up and the ivory almond light almond game myself and they get light almond that's the last color I can buy locally. I'm not special ordering specific colors over a switch or outlet. Once you let management know how much something trivial like that can cost they say oh give them whatever. I specifically say like available replacement for a reason. Also when you tell management that dimmer cost 20x as much they change there tune fast. Nitpicky things like that can bring a service call into loosing money fast!

I hope there is a special place in hell for whoever came up with almond and ivory face plates, switches and outlets.

You need a magnet wrist strap for those screws hanging out. :)

I changed a bunch of can lights from incandescent to led and the home owner did not want to change the dimmer switch but when I turned them on they all started to flicker really bad ( dimmer switch not compatible ) but I found if you leave one can with an incandescent bulb in it the rest of the LEDs stopped flickering. I guess the incandescent bulb drained the excess voltage from the rest of the LEDs. About a year later I ran across the same thing updating bulbs on a chandelier it also flickered until I replaced one of the new bulbs with the old incandescent bulb and the flickering stopped.

How do these people live with those damn dead battery smoke alarms beeping…. Guess they won’t if there’s a fire

The new 3 ways are not nearly as user friendly as old analogue switches. Frustrating.

I found that most of the time if the bulbs are flickering on a dimmer switch there's nothing wrong with the switch 90% of the time the light bulb itself is not a dimmable bulb
