I feel like Raiden Shogun is probably one of the most cohesive characters kit wise in the game, to the point where it almost seems unfair how complimentary her kit is. She has a high burst cost, so you already want to build ER, so her getting passive bonuses from ER makes those passives basically free stats. And Building her ER literally just also makes her burst better, as in more powerful. Also, with high ER, she will be able to charge a solid portion of her energy from her own burst.

And then you have her elemental skill, which encourages you to use your other character’s bursts by powering them up, and it also generates particles for Raiden Shogun as long as you are dealing damage. And using extra bursts powers up Raiden Shogun’s burst, which then allows her to use her own burst, do a ton of damage, and recharge everyone else, who can then go in and repeat the whole process.

I feel like no other character has such a clear cut way of being used, to the point where her kit encourages you to have rotations.

Also just some casual fun things. I like how having her on your party at all literally just feels like a significant power boost to your whole party. What with the Eye of Stormy Judgement doing it’s synced attacks and literally just powering up your bursts. Especially because the Eye have 100% uptime. And I like how the Eye procs on any damage being dealt unconditionally. So you can shoot something with an arrow from halfway across the map and it will proc. Or use Zhongli’s pillar and have the energy wave it emits proc it. Or just about anything. It’s very fun. I also like how because of it’s 100% uptime it feels like a passive, because I’m already using the Elemental skill every opportunity.

Just want to drop this here to help others to optimize their raiden national team. If your Raiden is on 220 above ER, you can have XL on 160 - 180 ER; Bennett can have 150 + ER, XQ below C6 200+ ER and on C6 140 - 160.
This is just a general guide so you can tweak this to where you are more comfortable.

Raiden helped me get 9 stars in level 12 spiral abyss. Currently have her at C2 and the damage is insane compared her C0 damage. She’s amazingly OP

Update: I have obtained the Maple Leaf Wanderer himself. Instant level 90 with Freedom Sworn. Working on Triple Crowning him. 1 crown down. 2 to go.

Combo Tips : If you need to reposition during her Ult, you can change your combo from N31C to N21C and dash mid-slash to reposition. It will give you the same amount of damage output, but keep in mind to not dash too early, because her CA slash won't be registeted

I have a request though, if you can start making full team comp videos. Like for example a Raiden National Team on how you will build each character and some tips to execute combos for each team.
