Will Smith is a well-known American actor, rapper, and producer. He was born on September 25, 1968, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Smith first gained fame as a rapper in the late 1980s and early 1990s as part of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. In 1990, he began starring in the NBC sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," which ran for six seasons and helped launch his acting career.
