I love all these tech-tips. I couldn't find anything else as helpful, if at all, in all of youtube. Does the wifi turn off with the car? I'll be using a dashcam that has cloud capability, so if it can use my car's wifi while in park-mode without needing to get another provider, that'd be great. I plan on getting a 2020 UX 250h.

Thank you so much for all your videos. i am a big fun. i have just got an 2021 RX350 and since i am not in the US i don't have access to either the AT&T or Verizon. i have been trying to get internet to my Lexus using my android phone as a hotspot. But for some reason i cannot turn the WIFI on, on the Lexus. Please do you have any suggestions on what i can do? and also activate the personal setting on the lexus app? i will really appreciate your help. Thank you.

Good video. I do have an issue that I didn't see mentioned here. Sometimes when I get in my 2020 Lexus the hotspot is off, even though it was on when I turned the car off. Is that supposed to happen? Does it automatically time out, or turn off after a certain amount of time? I use it every time I get into the car, so not knowing whether it is on or off is a little inconvenient. I want it to be on unless I choose to turn it off.

Also, you mentioned needing to download and install the app suite on your phone, but didn't get into what you use it for. I downloaded it, but I haven't done anything else with it. Is my hotspot turning itself off connected to the fact that I haven't set something up in the app suite?
