Thank-you to all the people who donated video clips so this video can have a wide range of body language!

This video goes over very BASIC dog body language. This video is meant to give a brief overview of what it means when your dog does a certain behaviour.

Dog communication is one of the most misunderstood part of dogs and humans and causes tremendous amounts of problem for both species. If you can take a few parts of this video and apply it to your life and better understanding your dog you will have a more fulfilled relationship with your four legged pal.

I love this video. I miss the video you made that talked about introducing dogs to chickens. I would love if that was made available again.

8:06 - there are many signals telling this dog is insecure about this situation however he continues to sniff the person and then escaped. In the previous video, another dog showed similar signals and attacked the toy eventually. How to react during such situations? Should I distract a dog by pulling him away as soon as I see a lifted paw? Or what?

Edit: I found the answer at 9:01 - Yay! Escape!

Really appreciate the content but hoping for a bit better video quality, it's very dark and sometimes hard to see what is going on because of that.

My poor little rescue doesn't have a tail, so learning how to read his language beyond "is his tail wagging then he must be happy" is so very very helpful!

So helpful! I have a new rescue that has many reactive behaviors and my trainer told me to watch these to get some insight into what the dog is trying to tell me!

Hey. What if your dog had like a fluffball tail? How can you tell what happens if they are nervous or something?

Can a dog give a person a cut off signal ? Like if my dog is done playing but I keep trying to play should I look for these signs ?

I am not a dog trainer, but after watching your first video I have a hard time believing people don't or can't read their dogs body language, understanding why your dog is feeling the way he\she is might be tough sometimes. But their signals are pretty clear
