BUYER BEWARE! We bought a 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid a few months back and while washing the car for the first time less than 3 weeks after purchase, found a spot of bare metal on the roof with some sign of corrosion developing around the bare spot. Repair required major dismantling of the interior Headliner, Pillars, Roof racks and satellite antenna to perform repairs. This would normally only be done for a catastrophic event and could compromise the structural integrity of the interior, causing vibrations and noise etc for loose parts. Car is so new indesign it is doubtful any factory training has been offered for the this type of repair. HyundaiUSA does not think this manufacturing defect is their responsibility to resolve to the satisfaction of the buyer. It should have never left the factory in this condition, never been received by the dealer and put out on the market to sell. As a long time fan of Hyundai cars for over 15 years of ownership, this was at best insulting. Hyundai tried to offer a $250 gift card as compensation, which was refused. I hope Hyundai reads this and does the right thing, their actions speak volumes to the real care they demonstrate for their consumers and I hope they can still make this right. The repair was done poorly and NOT exemplary of a $40, 000.00 dollar car investment. Still in negotiations to resolve this matter.
UPDATE: The dealer came through and we exchanged the Santa Fe for an identical Santa Fe. Very Happy with the outcome!!!

Hybrid is so worth it compared to other competitors. Resale value low but on the other hand you buy it to use it and the 10yr warranty is worth the price of admission. Never had considered one and now i love it!

I bought the calligraphy this year and seriously LOVE it. I had a 2016 ford explorer fully loaded and it doesnt even come cose to this thing with the options. Amazing!! The passanger talk is what my moms 180, 000 mercedes has...makes it feel luxurious. She loved my car as wel. It is our first ever hyundai in my family.
