Bodyguards for Jamie Foxx were with him in Miami when people began to run up to him, asking for autographs and selfies. It was apparent that the bodyguards weren't paying attention as they should have been, and several people were able to penetrate the security detail.

If they had 4 on detail, they should be in diamond formation with Jamie in the middle. The tall guy shouldve been looking outboard once the movement stopped.. Unless the Shift Lead instructs otherwise. The detail is too close to Jamie as well. They should have space to mitigate any threats or approaching fans ahead of Jamie's movements. AIC should be on Jamie's ass. Shift lead should be behind AIC and Jamie. SL calls the shots.

One is a personal bodyguard, and the other two work for an agency, like Andrews International. They were more than likely working as hired backup or at the venue. I use to do this for a living.

At the 5 second mark, it appears the agent wearing a black suit, sunglasses, and a beard is walking away from his client while looking down at his cell phone. I'm no SME, but at that moment Mr. Foxx's detail went from 3 down to 2. As others have commented, speed, surprise, and violence of action can happen in a matter of seconds. Not paying attention (e.g., looking down at cell phone) and void of situational awareness (e.g., bad position compared to client's) can quickly afford a determined threat plenty of opportunity.

That's how fast a couple of singers were killed. People say what they want about how certain entertainers have bodyguards, but trust there are crazy people who have more nefarious intentions then just taking a selfie.
