Excellent review. At some point I hope the high-end rod manufacturers realize rod buyers would be more apt to plunk down money for an expensive rod if they provided this level of specificity in their sales pitch. Tom Davis has dramatically helped raise the bar in the tenkara community when it comes to customer expectations for rod specs.
