Toyota Prius V Ground Clearance

How Much ground clearance does a Toyota Prius V car have? In this video I show you the ground clearance on a stock Toyota Prius V car. And I measure the height of the front and rear bumper, and also the height of the lowest part of the car to show just how much ground clearance a Toyota Prius V has. It is a very aerodynamic vehicle, but the Prius V also has enough ground clearance so that it doesn’t scrape on normal driveway entrances, and you can drive it everywhere that you would drive a normal car. I recently upgraded from the Prius C to the V and bought the lift. My house is on a dirt road, the clearance will help. I use the Tacoma, 16mpg, to haul the bikes to the MX track, but will be getting a small dirt bike trailer and tow hitch for the wagon. Plenty of room for gear, some camping, and dogs love the moonroof. Loving the wagon so far, and it’s about to be more functional once all is installed.

My lift kit is arriving today and changing the tires out to Falken Wildpeak All Terrain 215/65/R16s.
So will have 7.9 inches clearance. Great for me for light off road BLM land and Forest roads.
Sure beats my Roadtreks gas mileage. Really enjoying the Prius V so far.

Gas consumption is the reason for a lift kit, I can't afford to camp on BLM/FS land and pay for a 4x4's gas. At 38-46 mpg currently, i'm getting my Prius V lifted and adding slightly larger tires for a whopping 7.7 clearance. Reports are that it does not change mpg, but that is a lot of $ to get 1.7" difference. I'm hoping it pays off in accessibility to some camping AND in saving repairs on the car. I have replaced the skid plate TWICE. Getting the metal one from same supplier as lift kit.

I have a 1998 Chevy k1500 with a 5.7l and I have a grinding noise from the engine, when you accelerate between 20-30 mph it makes a grinding noise, I need some help.
