Large Storm Khanun expected to strengthen - July 30, 2023

Показать описание
Khanun is set to reach typhoon status fairly soon, and further intensification is likely as the storm moves northwards, before turning towards Okinawa and then into the East China Sea. The storm's large size will impact the entire region, and could cause strong winds to tens of millions along the eastern coast of China later in the coming week.

Elsewhere, tropical signals are becoming clearer in the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific, with developments possible. Long range models suggest that a very busy period could engulf the entire Pacific ocean before mid-August.
