I just assume that many of these pundits on the networks understand what’s happening right now with the Vikings in a real way, but they sometimes will make statements just to get hits on social media. Personally, I think that Brian Flores is going to stay as the defensive coordinator for the Vikings for several years. He has a great situation here with KOC, Kwesi, the ownership, and the fans of Minnesota. If it’s about the money, they can just pay him what a head coach makes in the league. Like most Minnesota fans, we approach the Vikings with cautious optimism. If they can stay moderately healthy, they have a great shot at the playoffs as a top three seed. That could get them a first round bye and a home game.

Hypothetically I want the Vikings to play chiefs in season. Super Bowl would be amazing. Little revenge on them

flores lawsuits against the league are going to keep him from getting serious consideration for a HC job until those run their course; MN is in a good position to keep the coaching staff in place for at least 1 more year.

but, 2025 free agents and expiring contracts loom large - grugier-hill, bynum, tillery, griffen, ward, bullard, jones ii, and wright are all guys on d/st who are able to shop for bigger deals next offseason, and that doesn't include any offensive players. there you've got mullens, aaron jones, mundt, muse darnold, quessenberry and powell. yes, the team has a lot of salary cap space, on paper, in 2025, but they have a lot of guys to re-sign, or extend, so it's a lot less than it seems.

going to be a very different team in 2025.

Speaking on Detroit defense like Vikings ain’t almost blow that game to Green Bay up 28-0 and ain’t score shit in the second half game ended 31-29 packers kicker don’t miss them fgs Vikings lose that game. Also Green Bay was missing players. Sound like y’all pick and choose what teams to Dick ride

I have to disagree with one of your points. I don't think we will never see the pendulum swing all the way back to a run heavy, big defense type of a league. The rules that have been set in place protecting quarterbacks, whideouts, etc are just too limiting. I think what we're seeing this season is the scales are being balanced a little more.
