The Neshaminy High School (Langhorne, Pennsylvania) Marching Band performing at the 3rd Annual Council Rock Marching Band Invitational on October 12, 2013 at Walter Snyder Stadium in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
Their 2013 field show "Veni, Vidi, Vici - I Came, I Saw, I Conquered" is set in ancient Rome. Acts I and II depict a time of conquest and war. Act III showcases the "Catacombs" movement from Resphigi's "Pines Of Rome". During this segment we see the aftermath of war and mourn those lost in the conflict. Finally in Act IV, a festive and celebratory atmosphere emerges as we hear the "Roman Carnival Overture" by Hector Berlioz.
