Create a custom button on the object's page layout that will be used to initiate the approval process.
Create an approval process on the object, specifying the criteria for when a record should be approved and who should be the approvers.
On the Chatter feed for the object, create a custom action that is linked to the custom button created in step 1. This action will allow users to initiate the approval process from the Chatter feed.
Once the approval process is initiated from the Chatter feed, the approvers will receive a notification and can access the record from the Chatter feed to approve or reject it.
Once the record is approved or rejected, the result will be displayed on the Chatter feed and the user who initiated the approval process will be notified of the outcome.
It's important to note that, to use this approach, the object must have a Chatter feed enabled and the users who will be approving the records should have access to the object's Chatter feed. Also, the Approval process should be set up accordingly to the business needs and to the user's roles and profiles.
