This is exactly what we all were thinking, actually... Semi factory in Nevada. Model 3 and cybertruck are going to be made in Texas.. Tesla is still announcing 2-3 new factory locations this year...

Their are many EVs for sale in California, from Nissan, GM, Ford, BMW, Mini, Mercedes, Mazda, PoleStar, Vinfast to name the first ones that come to mind but the people of California have very "High Tech" mindset, are very informed about the quality of the Charging infrastructure, have neighbors who demonstrate their Teslas to them. That is why Tesla dominates California sales not a lack of choices.
