How to make BAILEYS IRISH CREAM

It truly is extremely easy to make your own Irish cream at home and the best thing is you can adjust it to your taste. Plus it's also far cheaper!

My cooking channel has new recipes every: TUESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SUNDAY

Ingredients:
3/4 cup whisky
1 tin/395g sweetened condensed milk
400ml thickened cream
2 TBS chocolate sauce/topping
1 TSP coconut essence

I'm drinking Baileys Irish Cream, right now. All you need is whiskey, coconut and cream, and your good to go. Love this video. The coconut and cream really brings in the flavor.

My favorite drink of all time is just Bailey's and Buttershots. Especially if I have some whipped creme on top. I got a recipe from an old Irish Granny when I visited Northern Ireland years ago and yup, this is pretty similar to what I've been making. Makes a great gift as well.

A friend of mine taught me a recipe years ago that is similar. Instead of chocolate and coconut, add some instant coffee!

Thanks  Todd! I'd like to add to anyone trying to make this recipe that using an Irish Whiskey (thats right, with an E!) - is probably going to give you a slightly more authentic taste as Irish Whiskey has less much less (sometimes no) peat. In other words, it's less smokey and will taste much more like the brand name. Cheers m8!

You can use evaporated milk instead of cream, which makes it last longer.

What's great about this recipe is that the base can be used to imitate the other bailey's flavors too, I gotta try this.

change the fresh cream to tinned milk, carnation milk, lasts longer, you can also use Rum, tastes good as well :)

Awesome recipe, but I have to admit I gave it my own spin. I forgot to get coconut extract & chocolate syrup when I picked up the ingredients, so I used creme de cacao and coconut liquor instead. Tasted incredible and gave it even more of a kick.

For sipping with a drink of light beer between sips, try the Slippery Nipple:
That's 1 shot each Baileys and Sambuca or other strong anisette. Tastes like chocolate-liquorish-flavored paint remover, savor the contrast in flavors even as your tongue goes a bit numb. The beer is there so you can taste it again next sip. It's got more taste shock value on a rinsed palette so you can be amazed at how it tastes over and over.
