Cleveland weather: Sunshine on Friday in Northeast Ohio
Показать описание
Cleveland weather forecast for Thursday, September 19, 2024.
We'll cool down tonight into the 50s with mainly clear skies.
Attention then turns toward a cold front to our west. Severe weather is expected to break out later this afternoon in the northern and central Plains as this front moves eastward. For us locally, we can expect sunshine to give way to high clouds later Friday. We'll be watching a few showers and storms move in late Friday into early Saturday before clearing out for the remainder of our weekend.
Another low pressure with a more significant amount of moisture will move in Monday into Tuesday with several rounds of rain and storms expected! As you know, we could use the rain area-wide. We're running anywhere from 5 to 9 inches below average on the year with the last two months being particularly dry. Cooler air also arrives behind this system next week with 70s likely for highs for much of next week.
We're not done there -- models have been hinting at the development of a potential tropical system -- perhaps a stronger hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico that may come inland late next week. Something to watch for us locally because this could bring more soaking rainfall to the Ohio Valley!
Here is your Cleveland weather forecast.
FRIDAY: Sunshine with late day high clouds. Rain and rumbles move through Friday night. Mid 80s.
SATURDAY: Early rain giving way to sunshine by afternoon. Low 80s.
