Automatic writing isn’t a good go to initially until you know how to protect your energy and know other entities aren’t going ti try and trick you. You are opening yourself up and most experienced people will say don’t start here. Use it later when you are confident

This is not automatic writing. Automatic writing is done when in an unconscious and dissociative state, such as a deep trance. Words are generally unrecognizable as language. If you can read what you’ve written, you’ve experienced Inspired Writing. You’ve gotten inspiration from Spirit and written it down and transcribed it. I can tell you are not in a trance state because you put a mark on the paper and then stopped to think or receive and then your pen goes right back to the same exact spot. If you were doing automatic writing and you were in a trance state and your eyes were closed, You wouldn’t even know where your pen was on the page.
