@supergreek2009 But you still need to buy all the add-ons for the 360 and pay for Live and fix it when it breaks. The only thing you need to buy for the PS3 is a mic and more controllers, it has everything else already.

PS3 > 360

It's cheaper in the long run, it's just much better value. You don't need to buy add-ons like battery packs or wi-fi adaptors, it doesn't break so no need to pay for repairs, the only reason more people buy the 360 is because it's got a cheaper shelf price because it doesn't come with everything you'll want it to have. Then, because everyone got a 360 instead of a PS3, everyone ELSE gets a 360 so they can play online with people they know.

Think it through.

@henryhenriquez ok a small test, in 10 games i7 975 does 12 to 16 FPS without the GPU's help, OC'd to 4.0 18 FPS. The cell 28 to 30 FPS OC'd 35 FPS. ( OC'd for desktop not PS3). After shit loads of testing, the RSX is too weak and the RAM is too little for the Cell, which under all these benchmark tools i never seen avg people use. The bottleneck takes place on those two areas and not the cell itself. Because in the desktop there is a 9800GT and 2 GB RAM and the results are huge vs PS3.

@kurtisabc Blue-ray may have better graphics, but it really isn't that noticeable. As you said "you don't play a game for the graphics you play it for the storyline" well the same could be said for movies. And i was just talking about the console itself without any special cables/accessories

@henryhenriquez nvm dude, i asked one of the system builders here who's working on the sandy project and he explained that both processors are made to do completely different things. The intel chips are made to do multi-tasking and ready for any type of processing that comes its way, where the cell is programed for that specific task. The cell processor is so much more superior to any desktop chip out there, but it would cost so much to program it for every software platform out. There u go.
