How to Set Up Google Search Console for Shopify - Setup Tutorial and Basic SEO Tasks

Google Search Console is a must-have SEO tool for every Shopify store. It's really easy to set up, very useful for organic SEO, and much simpler to use than Google Analytics.

In this video, I teach you how to set up Google Search Console and connect it to your Shopify store.

I'll also show you some of the common things you would do with Search console, such as verifying with Google, uploading your sitemap, requesting indexing for a new URL, and connecting Search Console to Google Analytics.

LINKING SEARCH CONSOLE TO GA4 (New Google Analytics 4)
1. You must first set up search console and GA4 separately
2. Inside GA4, go to admin (bottom left), and then in the second column, under Product Links, you will see Search Console
3. Be logged in to both, using the same email. Click 'Link' and follow the instructions.

If you are doing a tutorial for shopify please do a shopify DNS for search console, there are way more steps for shopify than the other one you demo'd
