We are all in the same boat. All of us aquarists want to be DIY instead of calling in a technician and somewhere along the way we do learn from our mistakes, many times the hard way, sometimes more costly than paying a technician to do it for us.
End of the day we are not dumb, on the contrary aquarists may be the only hobbyists brave and smart enough to attempt being an engineer, electrician, plumber, painter, carpenter, photographer, video director, producer, youtuber & many more on top of keeping fish all in one without even having any formal training in any of these trades. So 👏👏👏👌👍

I have a 14 year old beagle. Her name is Lottie. She was starting to slow down pretty rapidly so we started her in high strength CBD and she has been acting like she’s 2 again ever since. Worth a try!

We have a few mini split systems in our house and LOVE them. That was the best thing you could have installed in the fish house. Everything has a learning curve, glad you figured out the issue before something broke.

👍😎 Had an idea for ya. I miss the interviews that guy in Vancouver used to do. They weren’t just, how many tanks, what kind of fish type of questions, we already know that. More about the person, a who they are other than a fishkeeper. Could be YouTubers or just people who are subscribers we see all the time. Thought I’d throw that out there. - I’m terrible with instructions too, my wife is always on me about it, and damm it she’s usually right. ✌️

Awesome video brother. Glad the mr cool system is up and running and working great. You don’t have to pour a pad John you can buy one and put it down and it will be just fine. If you ever need refrigerant for that system which is R-410a you can get it off of EBay. No license required and all you need is the ac gauges and look up what the lbs is supposed to be on the internet and you can refill the unit. I have a split system I installed and after a while AC may get a bit low from running a lot. Just a thought. Appreciate the video.

The fires here in my home province were so scary. It's wild how far reaching the Nova Scotia wildfire smoke was.
I've had a heat pump since 2017 and it's so amazing. Great investment.
