It was toward the end of 2005 when the Diet Coke & Mentos eruptions went viral, and everyone was trying their own experiments. So naturally your friends would try to stop you if you were caught trying to consume them both at the same time! 😂 But it was actually an urban myth that eating them together could cause any harm, since your stomach dissolves the candy coating.
Anyone ever try to put both in your mouth at the same time though?? I'm afraid to ask what happened...lol!

For me it was a dude that was choking on a Mentos and someone passed him some coke to get it down. He started gasping and he threw up the foam. It was traumatizing and the teacher kept bringing it up as a lesson to why we can't eat junk food💀
