Amazing! I think this should be the standard of care for any woman carrying a baby with spina bifida. I got teary eyed when I saw that littel girl running! Thank you to the wonderful physicians/specialists for giving hope to families facing this diagnosis!

I have spina bifida as well, but I was born in 1986. My first 25 years of life were amazing in that I was able to walk independently & only had a couple operations. I was a patient of Johns Hopkins Hospital for 30+ years where they (at the Kennedy Kreiger Clinic) also had an all day, see all the specialists in 6ish hours. They mentioned in the video that Emerson liked going to clinic days and I love this, because so did I. I loved the attention and being told how well I was doing (again things were ok until my adult years). The doctors especially loved how I wanted to learn right along with the med students and residents about what was going on.

Thank You for sharing, wish this was availabe in each country in the world and expenses covered from a state, as well as more people were aware of folic acid importance! So many children could enjoy fuller quality of life, live longer and live at all!
